If you have never booked an erotic massage before, Budapest is probably the easiest city in Europe to start. The scene is legal, the prices are transparent, and most venues are accustomed to first-time visitors — especially tourists.
This guide assumes you know nothing. We cover how to choose a venue, how to book, what to bring, what happens during the session, and what to do (and not do) afterwards.
Step 1 — Pick the right parlour for you
If you are nervous, pick a Gold-listed venue. Gold venues have English-speaking reception, verified photos, and a documented track record. They are used to first-timers. Our four Gold picks: Lindom Massage, LUXORA MASSAGE, Paradise Massage Budapest, and Sensual Touch.
Browse the homepage to see all listings with photos and prices. Filter by district if you know where you are staying.
Avoid venues with zero reviews, blurry photos, or prices that seem too low (under HUF 15,000/60min is a red flag).
Step 2 — Book ahead (seriously)
Walk-ins work maybe 30% of the time. The other 70%, you will be told "come back in two hours" or "fully booked." Book by WhatsApp or phone at least 24 hours ahead. English works fine at all Gold venues and most free-list ones.
What to say: "Hello, I would like to book a 60-minute Nuru massage for tomorrow at 3pm. My name is ___." That is all you need. They will confirm the time and send the address by SMS if it is not already public.
Cash is king. Bring HUF or EUR. Most Gold venues accept cards, but cash often saves you 5–10%. Check our full price guide for exact numbers.
Step 3 — What happens when you arrive
You arrive, ring the bell (most venues are in residential buildings with discreet entrances), and a receptionist or the masseuse greets you. You will be shown to a private room with a shower.
Standard protocol: shower first (they provide towels and slippers), then the session. You can undress completely or keep underwear — your choice. The masseuse will guide you. There is no script you need to follow.
Sessions run exactly the time you paid for. A 60-minute booking means 60 minutes of hands-on time. The clock starts after the shower.
Step 4 — During the session
The masseuse will use warm oil or Nuru gel. The massage follows a structured flow: back, shoulders, legs, then a turn. Communication is minimal — if something is uncomfortable, say "softer" or "stop." They will adjust.
At the end, you shower again. There is no rush — you can take your time. No tip is expected, but a 10% tip for excellent service is appreciated.
Step 5 — After the session
Leave a review on Erotikmaps if you had a good experience. It helps the venue and helps other visitors. If something was not right, contact the venue directly first — most issues are misunderstandings that a WhatsApp message can resolve.
You can book again immediately for another day. Repeat clients often get priority slots and occasional discounts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to speak Hungarian?
No. English works at all Gold venues and most free-list ones in the city centre. Some Buda-side venues may only speak Hungarian — check the listing before booking.
Is erotic massage legal in Budapest?
Yes. Erotic massage parlours operate legally in Hungary. They are registered businesses that pay taxes. There is nothing to worry about as a client.
What should I wear?
Whatever you want. You will undress in the private room anyway. Casual clothes are fine. The venue provides towels, slippers, and a robe.
